Today, I moved into my new homestay!!! I'm SO excited, I absolutely love love love this family!! The Dad is a professor at the University of Sevilla, and he teaches Chemistry. It is very helpful because he knows a little english, not enough that I can ever actually speak english, but just enough to help me out if I'm stuck :-) They have four little kids, all under the age of 12. I'm pretty much in heaven. The youngest one, who's 5 years old, just got a new bed today because he's now moved out of his "little kid" bed and he's SO excited. I love it. I swear that every piece of furniture in this house is from Ikea, and the bed-set in my room is one that I actually looked at when I was looking for one when I went to college...I think it's meant to be. I couldn't be happier with my new family!!
I had my first exam today for my Spanish class and I also had a 600-word paper due today. Needless to say last night wasn't fun, but I think I did fairly well so we shall see! This means that I only have 1 more week of this crazy intensive spanish class...although in this coming week I have to do 2 600-word papers (based on 3 interviews for each paper), a 15 minute presentation in Spanish and have a final exam. When they say intensive, they're really not joking! I'm just praying these next 2 weeks go by quickly so I can start my other classes which are apparently much less time-consuming!
I'm getting very excited to travel, hopefully planning a trip in the near future to get away for a weekend! I realize that sounds ridiculous because I already am "away" but being here is making me want to go and explore other places!! One group of students is going to Lagos, Portugal so I see that happening in my future, which I'm verrrrry excited for!
Short post this time, gotta go get ready to go out :-)
Hope all is well with everyone reading this blog...if anyone is actually reading this blog haha

Lydia-Your blog is great and so happy to hear you have settled in well with your family. All well here in cold Wisconsin--we miss you at the US Attorney's Office! I will be in your 'hood in mid-Feb in Bosnia-Herzogovina! Stay well, don't work too hard, see lots of cool things, and keep us posted!
